Trade tables and displays will be available on the second and basement floors of the Inn, with easy elevator access between the two. We’ll have access to the sales rooms after 5 p.m. on Friday, March 13th, for set up only. Rooms will open for selling Saturday morning at 8 a.m.

Again this year: you will cover the cost of your lunch on Saturday, and as a result, we are able to keep the reduced registration fees to pre-2015 levels. The fee is $25.00 for members ($10.00 for guests) and helps cover the cost of the facilities.

Please remember to complete and mail the registration back to Matt Borders. The meet is open to MWTCA members, spouses/partners, and registered guests of a member. You can invite people to join here, or send them to https://mwtca.org/339-2/

Make sure you bring plenty of items to sell this year. Sales have expanded over the past few years to include not only hand tools, but power tools and small machinery, as well as handmade items from members. Some of our sellers only sell on Saturday, so chances are good that by Saturday afternoon, additional tables will become available and there will be more room for YOUR merchandise.

After lunch on Saturday, Mark Borders, longtime cabinetmaker, traditional English joiner, and retired artillery officer from the Indiana Army National Guard, will demonstrate veneering in the Fritz technique. Mark is a volunteer woodwright for both O’Bannon Woods and Beck’s Mill woodshop. He says his “. . . main visual display is my horribly overloaded tool chest. I do not have a bench, never have. Rather I use various jigs and fixtures that can be clamped to whatever flat surface is at hand.”

Our annual auction on Sunday morning, hosted by Slav Jelesijevich (the Mad Serbian), will secure the following year’s tool meet by contributing 15% of the proceeds while we’re having a lot of fun. We encourage everyone to bring something interesting to put in the auction!
