Spring 2021 Middleton (Madison) Meeting Covid-19 Protocol – UPDATED May 18

GREAT NEWS – The Dane County Health Department will lift all Covid-19 restrictions effective June 2.   Wearing of masks will be voluntary except for children who have not been vaccinated.  However, the Marriot Hotel continues to require the wearing of masks in all common areas inside the Hotel.  Its possible this will change too by the time of our meeting.  If you have not done so we encourage members to get vaccinated.

Seating (social distancing) will no longer be required for our Welcome Reception, Auxiliary Luncheon and banquet.  Due to limited seating in the Hospitality Room you will be encouraged to pick up food and beverage items and move to the common area in hotel lobby or return to your room.   In an abundance of caution there will be no “self service” items available in the hospitality room. No cookies, no chips no fruit or veggie trays.  Water, beer and soda will be handed to you.

Hand sanitizer will continue to be available throughout the meeting.

Unfortunately, it is too late to arrange for any formal tours.  Prior social distancing requirements prevented us from contracting for the necessary services.  We have provided suggested locations that we think you might be interested in touring on your own or with friends (hope they have had their shots).
