Celebrating 50 Years!!
As Bill Kolm, our editor of The Gristmill said in the September 2017 issue, “Not too many people actually like to celebrate their 50th birthday. One usually starts to slow down around 50 and may even start to think about retirement. HOWEVER, 50 years old is a good thing for an all volunteer organization like Mid West Tool Collectors Association.”
Founded in 1968 by a small group of avid tool collectors, the association has become international in scope with a membership approaching 4000 who are scattered to all corners of the globe. Included are individuals from all walks of life as well as libraries, museums, historic sites who share a common interest in collecting, using and appreciating antique and traditional tools.
Plans for special celebration activities are in the making so please check back here to see what is being offered.
